I don't know where they are on the PT's Dennis, but my FC31 has Tags from the factory showing the gross Vehicle wgt,etc. up near the front of the bus. You should be able to find tags somewhere on your PT that identify the vehicle as to what it is, date of mfg., etc. There are tags that tell you the axle wgt. as well. Seems that you could take pictures of these to them. Some buses also had blue boxes that had the original paper work and a whole slew of info. on what the bus came with. Good Luck. I am in Boise Idaho and finalized the purchase last December and haven't been able to get it started since. The state of SD requires among other things a weight verification on the unit.
