That is how I would do it. A check valve
should be used between the compressor and
your plumb-in point.

I had a small sears pancake compressor that I
carried with me but it quit making air. I am
going to get a new compressor to take a with
me & I was wandering if it would be ok to
take the tanks off & use the compressor by
itself. I have a good place to plumb it in
before the air dryer. I don't like taking up
the extra room for the tanks. They are twin
tanks & the compressor has a 200psi which
would be good to air up the coach.
