RE: LXI Accessary system air leaks
Charlie,
Four common causes of accessory air leaks are: 1) Air line to the pilot seat and heating controls under the dash 2) One or more of the 4 PPV valves is bad, most likely the one right on the frame high up by the air dryer. That PPV valve is right between 2 accessory blocks holding, about 8-10 lines http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/ryder/...tDetail.do the rubber diaphragm goes bad and air leaks out of the "canister hole" 3) Clippard valves and lines working the water closet, line dump valves, tank fill, line blow out, etc on or right behind your water closet operating panel http://www.clippard.com/ 4) Air lines going into the steps- BE CAREFUL HERE, 2 MERCURY SWITCHES MOVE THE STEPS IN AND OUT WITH POWER OFF AND CAN TAKE YOUR ARM OR HEAD OFF! I know you are an experienced owner so I'll say this for our other viewership, DO NOT GO UNDER THE BUS UNLESS YOU SAFELY BLOCK IT WITH 2 SYSTEMS LIKE STANDS AND HARDWOOD, ETC., have a pit , ramps , or lift.
