Poll: 84fc 35' good condition 61,000 all paperwork(2 milk crates full), WOULD YOU BUY FOR 10,000???????

When I think of the time we bought a used 84 Winnebego Elandan for $23k in the late 1990's, blew the engine up, spent $8k on a "racing" high torque rebuild, and then sold the whole works for $15k, I think you've got yourself a steal (and a lot of steel) for $10k.

In comparison, the Winnebango was a piece of ever deteriorating fibreglass s**t. Had I bought the Bird you're looking at then, for even $50k at the time, it would have been a way better investment, and I'd likely still own it. That vintage of Bird was what made me fall in love with Wanderlodges.

It's a gorgeous coach, and as long as you are prepared to treat it like a fine yacht and keep it up it will serve you well. It doesn't matter if a coach is ''74, '84, or 2004, they all need care and attention.

Go buy it and enjoy it.
