Air Conditoner Fan Motor Bearings Shot

Howdy, Y'all.

The fan motor bearings are kaput on our bedroom air conditioner. Jack
wants to know how to replace that motor. It looks to be very difficult
because the drive shaft is so long. Is there a trick to replacing that
motor without disassembling the whole world? Ideas, suggestions
or comments would be appreciated.
