air conditioners cause voltage drop

Dave,

Don't want to alarm you because I could never
determine exactly if the two were related; however,
mine did that for several years. One day (3 days
before warranty expiration date) it went to zero and
240V on legs. Was faulty stator, PowerTech sent
replacement.
For whatever it's worth, if mine did that now, I'd
be delivering it to PowerTech and citing my previous
experience.
