Rear Window on 1984 PT40WL
Roger: Wanderlodge used the rear cap from the forward control coach
on the rear of the PT40 in order to save money. In 1985 and 1986 the factory had lots of complaints about the poor appearance of the window in the rear. They came out with a metal panel to cover the window. I'm not sure if the panel was their idea or a Wanderlodge owner's idea. In any case what you have in mind should not cause a problem. My first Bird was a new 1984 PT40. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "pt40wl1" > Does anybody have any reason for the rear window and metal cover on > the rear of the '84 PT40WL??? > > I am doing a complete rejuvination on my bird and am considering > replacing the rear window and cover with some new 16 gauge smooth > galvanived steel.
