Roof Air Conditioner Conversion Kit?

I recently replaced the roof airs on my PT40 WB and learned the
following.

I replaced my Dometics with Dometics but had to change the
thermastat wire form an 8 pin type to a 4 pins type. The conduet
from the air unit to the thermostat (in my coach) was ribbed plastic
and very hard to pull the new wire thru, in fact on one unit I had
to reroute the wire completely. The thermostat has to be replaced to
the new 4 pin type as well. The air units innerchanged on the roof
openings and wireing easily with minor changes.

I paid about $600.00 each including thermostats.
