5.29 gears
Jon,

I believe with the 3208Na, the 5.29 was the normal rear end. When
the turbos came along the gearing was normally the 4.88 (4.89).
There were choices however.

The turbo, while more powerful, has a lower max rpm. At 55mph
national speed limits, 4.88 was a pretty good match from factory.
While the Na, which I believe you have, was likely considered well
matched to the 5.29.

You never can be sure since people did make changes. Best to check
the speedo and tach are accurate.
