high idle
Much of this depends upon the type of throttle you have. If you have
an air throttle, it does not move; If you have a cable throttle, it normally will move. The fast idle is applied at the governor throttle arms, therefore it does not affect the air throttle; the cable throttle, having a mechanical connection to the throttle pedal will move the pedal.
