batteries

Hi Blair & John,

While I can't say too much bad about the East Penn Gel Cells in
my '99 as they are still going strong at 6+ years old, I agree that
AGM is a better technology. From what I read, they should give me
more cycles and charge much faster which is a big benefit when
charging from a generator. I'm sure that I'll be changing over when
these Gel's finally die and will be looking to you for advice on
which ones to get. I've already checked and the inverter/chargers
and I can switch them from the "Gel" setting to an "AGM" setting so
they should charge correctly.
