Battery Isolator
Hi All Here is another battery problem. My 89 SP 36' is in the shop
right now getting a new compressor. While waiting outside not plugged in I went in it today & the coach battery's were drained & not showing anything on the gauge. The starting battery's showed 12 volts but when I tried to start it there wasn't anything. It didn't even try to spin. I couldn't even get the genny to turn. I tried the switch that was supposed to put the two banks together & that didn't work. How are they supposed to work. Should you be able to start the genny with dead house battery's? Should the coach be able to start with dead house battery's? I know it won't shift if it doesn't get at least 10 volts to the ZF transmission. Is that the same with starting? Do you need better than 10 volts to the tranny to get it to start? I want to get this solved before leaving for FL & whereever the end of Dec. All help appreciated. Thanks Don 89 SP 36' Butler, PA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
