90WLSP36 Smoke and heat

The engine runs very smooth and noticeably stronger since the new
turbo was installed. The Cat mechanic suggested that the turbo
had not been working for a long time therefore excessive carbon
buildup could have "gummed up" the rings. The engine has 88000
miles on it.
