Battery question?
You can add them, it's only money.

BB decided to only use the one compartment for batteries, which
limited them to four, not enough to use only two for house batteries,
so they are dual-purpose.

The four 6v GC-6 batteries have plenty of cranking amps, and the GC-6
being designed for deep-cycle use gives the coach the most dry-
camping amp-hours and most discharge-charge cycles available
(compared to starting or combination batteries).

Given the choice of a split bank, four GC-6 batteries, or four 12v
starting or marine batteries, I take the additional amp-hours of the
GC-6 also.

Four of the GC-6 from Sams or wherever will fit your original tray
perfectly.
