Battery question?
Deep cycle batteries work fine for starting the Cat 3208. The thing
you have to worry about is how much energy you pull out of them overnight if you have a lot of power hungry appliances such as a satellite TV, lights etc since those same batteries have to start the Cat the next morning. I am not sure you would want to use them for the Detroit series engines however. If there is room you might considewr going to the Trojan T125 or T145 6VDC deep cycle batteries which are a little taller. http://www.trojan-battery.com/ Tom Warner 1982 Bluebird Vernon Center,NY At 10:04 PM 3/10/2006, you wrote: >Does it seem odd to anyone else besides me, that BB uses 6 volt deep >cycle batteries to start the engine?
