I am in the process of doing a complete colling system majot
maintenance: all new rad hoses, thermostat, all exposed cooling hoses
and overhaulin those darn Sporlans. I did some research on A/F as our
units use 84 quarts if you can get it all out. No matter what color or
brand you choose to use it must, at the very least, meet ASTM D4985.
Many of the brands on the shelf do not meet that standard. I went with
Wal Mart extended life coolant. Cheap and readily available. Made by
Old World Industries, the same people who make most of the OEM brands.
