Buzzer sounding in dash
To Rose Mary and other FC Owners,

I had this same problem this past December. Warning buzzer and light.
All gauges, oil & temp, where reading normal. Oil and coolant levels
were normal.

I needed to make a quick trip but knew we would go crazy listening to
that buzzer. Satisfying myself that all engine systems where OK and
that the problem was in the alarm-sensor system, I disconnected the
buzzer(light stayed on).

By removing the front, drivers side panel, I was able to locate a
small control box made by Kysor Cadillac. It is very difficult to see
and even more difficult to get to. One of the lugs was labeled
something like alarm audio or buzzer, or wording to that affect.
Disconnecting that, the buzzer when out and we were able to make our
trip in peace.

Upon returning, I reconnected the alarm, and started disconnecting
each senor lug individually until I found which sensor was the
problem. I turned out to be the oil senor.

From inside the Coach, looking into the doghouse, I found a oil senor
on the cylinder head on the right side. It has one wire running to it.
After removing the senor, I when to NAPA and by looking at the
pictures in the catalog we where able to select one that was most
appropriate (no part number on the existing). This fixed the problem,
no buzzer, no idiot light.

The senor had developed a small oil leak.
I had concern that the problem was the Kysor Cadillac control box and
was relieved to find out it is ok.

A fellow Blue Birder, Lucas Willemse, advised that the company is now
called Medallion Kysor. Their phone is 616-850-8048 if you ever have
the need.

Hope this may you and others if this problem comes up again.
