Yes the spin-on filter has a high pressure O-ring that must be replaced. This O-ring gets squashed and flattened and cannot be re-used. It is often forgotten.

That's the same setup I have. DO NOT FORGET THE ORING. I think bluebird used all wix/parker filters. The black one is a parker that you can get it at ORiely's. I thought I worte the # down last year when I changed mine.
