Hi Chuck,

There is a section of flexible hose, but on my bus there's a metal bracket attached to the top of the transmission that attaches to the U-Pipe to support it. The bracket attaches to the U-Pipe with one of these.

From our Document library, Chelsea Parts List and QCC Series 180 Pump Tech Specs:

Length:
Chelsea: centerline to end of AF flange: 4.32"
QCC Series 180-30: 6.04", weight: 20.5 lbs (This is with the standard side ported configuration, the rear port config might add another inch or two).

Combined Length: 10.36" (Plus a smidge for the rear ported config)

I think we're good with length and probably okay with weight too depending upon the weight of the fluid filled hoses; nonetheless, Chelsea recommends a rear mount in all cases.
