Hitch Extender Adapter
Doug, we had a bike rack on the back of our last car. We didn't
like that because 1) it was a pain to mount the bikes when we moved, then take them off to avoid driving them around ALL the time. 2) they get REALLY dirty riding way in the back â any cover (read drag) could have eventually blown off and become a hazard for the drivers behind us. 3) the maker of the bike rack wouldn't honor the warranty because it was on a towed vehicle. Hitch Extender Adapter
Understandable...there's never an easy answer. I just don't like the looks of
extending the hitch, more leverage, even though tounge weight is minimal. Any chance they could go on the front of the bus, I've seen that before. (And why should the mfg. of the rack care where it's mounted? Just an out for them I suppose) Doug jimocon back of our last car.
