Replacing the pulley on a FC to fix the belt issues
Nope, it's all lined up. Notice the empty pulley groove on the crank next to
the single PS belt, the dual pulley uses it.The double pulley is specific to BB only, I can't say if it is real easy to come by. The one they found for me was a little dog eared. Did you have to modify pump mount to align the belts? Did Power Steering Specialists do the modifications on your pump? Thanks for the information. A new pump shaft is required and a dedicated Blue Bird pulley. OE on 87 and up. The two belt pulley is 6.5" dia., pump runs a little slower, less likely to cavitate. > MH > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Eric Johnson > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Wednesday, March 14, 2007 6:41 AM > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Replacing the pulley on a FC to fix the belt issues > > > Joe, > I removed the A/C compressor in our FC due to freon leaks in the condenser hoses and > the estimated cost of updating/repairing a system that wouldn't cool the whole coach in > Louisiana/Texas summers anyway.
