BMC 37' is more like 37' 8" or 10" in length, with no tow bar attached. Well
over 38' with a towbar on and folded up. The same model can vary by inches, depending on tire size , ride height, & stuff on the roof. If you are considering a 12 foot door, some Birds will clear others may not. If a few inches are an issue, dumping the suspension will help lower the height by a few more inches. Several Birds were measured last year at a Rally, there is a chart in post #20. > > > > > > http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.com/fo...347&page=2 > > > > > > > > > Bill Pape 1988FC Michigan > > > > > > > > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Joe" > > > > > > > > I'm still at it, trying to find a suitable coach that will fit in my warehouse. > > > > > > > > Can anyone tell me the clearance height of a BlueBird BMC 37? > > > > > > > > I realize this is not a BMC forum, but just maybe someone here knows and would tell me. > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > Joe > > > > Indian Harbour Beach, FL > > > > > > > > > > |

My '88 FC 35' has the front air unit removed from the top. It has an
11 foot clearance, which includes a storage box on the roof. It may be more if that AC unit is still there. Dave Swan '88 FC Silver edition |
