water hook up

When I got my PT40 there was alot of white gunk below the water fill box. Seems
the
connection leaked often for the previous owner and in fact seemed to leak for me
as well.

At a rally, I believe it was at the FMCA Quartzsite International Rally a couple
of years ago,
I picked up a quick connection from a guy who emphatically stated that it would
not leak.
I bought the 45 degree angled male end connection as it fit into my doored box
and
allowed it to close and accepted the hose aiming down. The female end quick
connect on
my hose has a turn off valve built right in. In order to connect and unconnect
the hose I
simply turn off the female end disconnect, attach the hose to the water supply,
turn it on,
open the female connect to flush out whatever is in the water, (sometimes the
spigots
haven't been used for awhile), turn off the female connector, connect via quick
connect
then turn on the water at the female connector. No mess no fuss. Just the
opposite allows
me to disconnect without a mess when I'm leaving. Its worked great for our
bird.
