Vipwheels - New replacement Steering Wheel
Good Afternoon ,
Emailed Vipwheels about a replacement wheel and costs. Charlene requested the diameter, spline count, and part number. I can get the diameter and spline count if I can get the wheel off, my question is how ? The wheel is loose both (right & left), plus telescoping (up & down). Is that ok/normal to have about 2 to 4 inches of play in its motion ? Part # ? Thanks, Gene Judy & Gene Sharp 93' WL40' Ohio |

Vipwheels - New replacement Steering Wheel
On my 83 FC the horn button pops off with a little nudge from a flat headed
screwdriver (It's a switch, not a contact ring like a car, and has a wire attached). Look down into the hole and there is about a 1 1/8" nut. remove the nut and the wheel should come off with the proper wheel puller. Keep us posted, I also need to replace my steering wheel with a smaller unit. Something about that Law Of Physics that states My belly and the steering wheel cannot occupy the same space at the same time.
