House Batteries
Mike:
Take a look at this website.\ you will find that the price quoted is rather high for the T105. Also look at the T125, few dollars more and get more capacity in the same area. http://www.ebatteriestogo.com/Trojan_RV_Batteries.htm Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge" Terrace, B.C. I verified that is correct information, and 4D size wasn't discussed. The unanswered question is where did you get the 150 dollar price on the Dekas? If the price is on group 31 12v, never mind. My applications require T 105, golf cart batteries. Chicago Deka warehouse quoted, 4D @ 198AH $354. Waiting to hear what they will do T105s for. The Lifeline 4D is rated at 210AH, the 8D is rated at 255AH. The 1992 WB40's use Group 31 batteries, at least mine does. So they are not the group size. If you found someplace that sells Lifeline 8D or even 4D AGM's for $290, I would buy everyone they had at that price, low advertised retail is around $450 on that battery. Also, anyone looking at purchasing batteries anytime soon. I would do it sooner than later, battery prices have had a huge increase over the last couple months and will probably continue to do so for the near future.... The Deka is a 180 AH, but if you can get them for $150, I would be inclined to go there. House Batteries
WHen comparing amp hours remember that two units of 6 volt T105 220ah
in series gives you 12volts 220ah. '12volt units' or '6 volt pairs' in parellel multiply the amphours. I have 6 units of L16 6 volt trogens each giving 420ah. total ah = 1260ah/12v (2,520 AH/6v). Kind of a waste because I dont stay still very long while dry camping and when you go to charge them after several days it takes 4 hours. no mater how much your bank stores, you eventually need to make up the used energy. I do like the fact that they never go below 80% before I start up the genny.
