Sitting here in dreary, rainy, 40 degree cold Texas, I had some time
to poke around the dash board area today.

I discovered the alarm switch (turning it on set off a buzzer in the
driver's area, but no external alarm). Of course, I don't have the
Key fobs -- Later I'll look for the number as someone suggested so I
can order a new one.

I found the AquaHot heat exchanger -- of the 3 floor-level vents,
it's behind the one closest to the driver just below the 2-door
shallow cabinet. There was a board on top of it that I didn't remove
-- but I expect that the fans are not working on it since no heat
comes out. The vent opening to the right (center of the three) seems
simply to allow air to enter the dash area, and the far right vent
has a flexible AC distribution tube attached to it. I think it may be
an air intake of some sort. All the AC/chassis heat outlets (with the
adjustable vanes) have flexible tubing attached. There's quite a
tangle of tubing in the under-dash area, but conditions here didn't
permit me to make an extensive exploration. Since I also have a non-
working fan on one of the 2 AH heat exchangers under the galley
cabinets, I'll need to get at least one replacement fan.

I also found that the internal 'door' that controls the flow of heat/
AC through the chassis system is accessible through the access panel
with the passenger's foot rest on it. (In automobiles, this part of
the heat/cooling system is almost always nearly impossible to
access.) The plenum unit seems to have 3 air pressure (or vacuum
pressure) devices attached to the outside. One has a lever
arrangement that's exposed -- and some wires (going to the switches
above the foot rest) were tangled around it. That may have been why
the switchover to AC from chassis heat hasn't resulted in the
expected airflow through the 'eyeball' vent as in the past. (We'll
see when it's a bit warmer.)

I found the alarm system mic "bullet hole" in the mirror above the
bedroom closet doors -- but I haven't identified any more mic
locations elsewhere in the coach, so far. I find the spot for the LED
below the keypad -- but it's a empty hole. Perhaps the LED has fallen
inside somehow. (Finding access to the back side of that area looks
like it might prove "interesting" as a carpet covered board is on the
inside wall next to the passenger seat.)

Pete regarding the microphones I have one on the backside of the dash hump
facing forward towards the windshield.....a little black round pencil eraser
shaped thing. I have had the panel behind the key pad off several times and
if your is like my 94 it is no big deal. Poke around in the carpet and you
will find the screws along the perimeter (about an inch or inch and half in
from edge). Should be five or six. Also if you have the crome grab bar it
must also be removed as the screws also keep the carpeted plywood panel in
place. Hope this helps.

Found the front mic. Sure not very obvious.

I'll poke around in the carpet later to find the screws. It sounds
like the way the wire chase was attached along the side of the coach
with the screws through the carpet. (Discovered when I re-did the
floor with bamboo wood.)
