I have used Mobil Delvac 1300 Super oil for several years for everything
including my diesel tractor, Cat 3208,Jeep Cherokee, Honda Odyssey and
Ferris Commercial mower. If you check on the Amsoil site(funny place to
check) it scored higher the Mobil Delvac synthetic oils. Its available at
Walmart for $6.28/gallon. When you feel it you will immediately feel the
difference from other oils. Since last year I see it at more and more truck
stops. Spend the money on synthetics if you feel the need but in my opinion
when you can buy heavy duty oils like this why waste the money.

Is it really worth the $22 savings to screw around with a 55 gallon drum?
Not to me, I buy it afew cases at a time. I bet if you got it by the case
from a jobber it would be cheaper per gallon then a 55 gallon drum?

Obviously you don't have as many diesel vehicles as I do, or drive as much. I
also have a business entity, you know, write offs, cost of goods sold, it's a
free enterprise thing. Private sector.

You got to rub it in having the write offs (I havent got any), cost of
goods sold(I no longer sell anything), private sector thing either. I got
out of that rat race 10 years ago when I fully retired. Sounds like you
got me beat mike from every angle.

Tom I've been using Mobil Delvac for about 5 years & I used it in both of
my BlueBirds. The other day I went to Walmart to get it & they didn't have
any. I asked the man in the automotive & he said they quite carrying it. Can
you still get it in your Walmart. The thing I like about that is you can get it
all over the US.There aren't any truck stops near me so I have to go about
20 miles to get it from a dealer.

Or you can order it on line I noticed from Sams Club.

Tom We don't have a Pep boys & Advance Auto Doesn't carry it here in

Don,
The following statement is hilarious:

>The thing I like about that is you can get it
> all over the US.There aren't any truck stops near me so I have to
>go about 20 miles to get it from a dealer.

If you can get it anywhere, why do you have to drive 20 miles?

That's like Yogi Berra when he said, "Nobody goes there anymore,
it's too crowded".

I mean no disrespect, it just hit me funny.

George, I guess I said that wrong I meant to say that there are Walmarts
all over the US & they are easer to find & cheaper than the truck stops. I
thought they all stopped carrying it. There just aren't any truck stops near
me.
