Mike, there is a certified tech for AH Who was at quartzite that was reported as knowledgeable. He is based in Calif. cut travels in a Foetravel and does AH service. Might look into that. Leaving SPI Sunday for Sequin to meet Dave and get alternator fixed.
We "might" come to Ca. this summer; still negotiating.

I have an odor of diesel in the bays under my coach. I have not taken the cover off of the Aqua hot yet but there are no obvious leaks. Any ideas about what I should look for. Where is the best place to get any needed parts.

Also a while back I had posted about sticking windows. I found a product made by gunk that is a dry spray lubricant that works pretty well.

Thanks, MIke Mcmahan 96 42' Wanderlodge

A slight odor of diesel is not unusual in the storage bays, especially near the AquaHot.
If even a small quantity of diesel is spilled during a servicing, (e.g. while changing the inline filter on the fuel line just before the burner) the odor can be persistent, even if the spill was minor and carefully wiped up.
Often, when the burner ignites, a bit of a "backfire" occurs, causing a little bit of diesel smoke to remain in the AquaHot rather than go out through the burner and AH Exhaust. This smoke generate an odor that drifts out the air-vents in the AH and permeates the storage bays.
So, if the odor is light but persistent, it may simply be "normal" odor. Some of us also have rather more sensitive response to the diesel odor.
In three years, I was never able to locate an actual source of diesel odor in the storage bays -- but I was always aware of it whenever I opened one of the doors.
Keep in mind that the smoke-burp (backfire) occurs more often as the burner nozzle ages. So, the recommendation for an annual service is reasonable. The basic service replaces the inline fuel filter, the burner nozzle, and does some general clean up and adjustment to the burner and igniters.
Parts can be obtained from AquaHot or Webasto.

Mike, you could check the fuel hose to the fuel filter and then pull the cover
on the A/H, 2 screws on the top and 2 on the bottom, on the side that has all
the pipe coming out. If there is a leak there will probably be diesel in the
bottom pan. You might want to get on this sooner than later, if the diesel get
to deep it will start to soak into the carpet all around it. If your lucky the
diesel has not spread to the liner in the A/H. good luck
