Hi all,
I have tried suggestions from several folks re checking switches and
presence of 12v at the stop solenoid. Switches are ok and the 12v
required to operate the stop solenoid is present only when the start
button is depressed. If I had a full schematic I could probably
figure it out but I don't. Could the problem be an oil pressure
sensor?

---Again...I know it sounds simple but I had similar problem and air
blew switches on jenny, then jiggled them on and off a few times and
it worked. The long time sitting must have messed up my switch
contacts.....that's all I know..up to RALPH after that!
good luck,

Look on your control box and get the number. With that someone may
have a schematic ( I have a few for the control boxes but had to go
back to Kohler to finally get the correct one for mine. . If you take
the cover off the control box check the relays inside and get the
numbers off those also. If it is anything like mine it has two bosch
relays and a Potter blumfield KUP155-120. I have torn mine all apart
and have derusted and painted it and completely rewiring it so it is
at last reliable(I hope).
