Technical Question??
HELP:::
We are in the process of cooking Mr. Turkey.. How can I use my RayTec infrared thermometer to check the Bird, tempurature? What temp should the breast be?? (Cookbooks say the interior should be around 170. Jack Smith At Home in SoCal |

It all depends opn what type of stuffing you are using and the type of

Jack its the temperature deep inside the breast or at a leg joint
that you need to monitor and I dont believe taking the temperature on the surface of the bird will help you at all. You use a simple thermometer with a stem that is inserted in the breast.
