yes ernie, the valve is on the floor behind the built in dresser. I
had to dismantle the dresser cabinet and jack it up enough to get my
upper torso in to get the top off the valve. I can barely see it. Any
way it was coated with white mineral stuff which I cleaned off. since
its so hard to get to I thougt it best to put in new parts. By the way
I fixed my gen set(wouldnt fire). Changed fuel filter and tightned alt
belt.

Ed, that must have been an undertaking. I remember we searched hi and low for
that thing. Glad it worked out for you. Ernie-83pt40 back home in Texas

Sporlan Water Valve- Changeout
Ed

Where is the sporlan located in your 89SP?

I have an 89SP also, with a center queen bed. I think I have located
mine on the curb side at the bottom of the bedroom cabinets at the
foot of the bed. Is that the location?

Fred
On my 90 the valve is under the bed. Raise the foot of the bed and you will
find it under the head on the curb side.
