Toad question
I haven't pulled a toad with the Bird. I just set up a 1996 Sidekick
as a toad. Just under 3000lbs. How much of a difference will I
notice pulling a toad of this size? I've got a retarder so I don't
think the weight of the toad even without brakes will make a huge
difference in braking ability given the relative weights of the two
vehicles. How much will I notice the toad when hill climbing?

Toad question
Kerry:

We tow a 2004 Suzuki XL-7 (weight of 3700 lbs. I believe) and we don't notice
it at all behind our 82 FC. We have the 3208 na engine with no retarder although
I use a Brakebuddy on the Suzuki. We towed it last fall from Toronto to Texas
and back with no problems.

Best wishes.

We tow a 94 Geo Tracker..weighs 2400 lbs...don't notice it at all.
Just bought a 05 Honda Element to tow and it weighs 3,500 lbs. Don't
notice it either except when going up hills and the speed drops about
5-10 mph.

Toad question
When we picked up our Bird, we drove down in our 94 Accord (3400
pounds) and rented a tow dolly for the Accord for the trip home.
Never knew it was there.

Was freaking out over my first solo drive. LMAO
