Driving Light Air piston

Alan, this is one item that has not been addressed. I'm glad you brought it

Alan there is a switch that the light has to touch to turn the light on. The
light can be adjusted to hit it. If the cylinder is bad it is a Clippard.
Mine is an SDR-20-3 & I got two new ones for sixty dollars for both. That made
mine work fine after I adjusted them to come the whole way down. I don't
think you can repair them.

One of my driving lights is slow to lower and then doesn't go quite
all the way down (hence it won't come on until i push it into place).
I was trying to find a post on working on those air pistons (... What
are they called?).

Can I repair or rebuild it?

ps.. Just installed my headlight/bosch relay upgrade. I"m looking
forward to trying it this weekend.
