3208 Water Pump R&R
With coolant running out from behind the pulley on the water pump
shaft, I suppose it is time to replace the pump. This is a 3208T 225HP. Has anyone done this job? Are there any "gotchas" that I should know about during the Remove and Replace process? Is my local Cat dealer as good as any other source for parts? Are there any other "soft parts" I should order aside from the pump and gaskets? Thanks in advance for any tips and advice. 3208 Water Pump R&R
Haven't done it but I did buy a spare water pump on Ebay. Looks like a pretty
standard and normal procedure from the appearance of the pump.
