VENT GRILLS
Hello Nelson:
Many of the items were fashioned from Chrysler products of one year or other. I
am not sure which your referring to. The grills in the front dash and those in
front of the co-pilots seat or the vent along the top edge running down each
side of the salon and in some Coaches on into the galley. Your inquiry is the
first that I can remember on the Forum.

As to the headlight switch, good find, though I would suspect a possible mis
wiring or wiring change on the switch proper. Perhaps, in trying to repair
another problem and failing, a second problem was induced. With out a doubt the
switch must be replaced but you need the schematic of the wiring to be sure it
proper. One must ask the following question when any problem pops up. How is it
supposed to work properly, in the first place? Then one goes about chasing a
problem with a plan.

Sorry I also meant to mention, in most of the Birds of the 90's, Bluebird
finally got the hint and started taking most of the amp load that used to go
through the switch and made the switch pull the coil of a relay and the amperage
ran through the contacts of that relay instead of the switch. Did that one item
ever fix a whole host of problems, and about time too.

Hello Ralph,

I was able to find the Delco D1505B on Amazon for $20.00. I think I have a schematic to verify the connections. Should have it here next week.

There has not been any repairs made to the bus since my last trip which was last year. Actually I see you’re from Duncan. That was where my last trip was, to the Morgan Ranch. My daughter had a couple of horses at the show. Everything worked great down and back to Maryland. I went to Europe for about 8 months and when I got back I had this headlight problem. I just found out today I have the Leveler Store Light is on, even that they are completely up. I don’t think I would want to tackle re-wiring with the headlight switch

Thanks for your help.
