I need to replace my OIL TEMP sender and gauge but dont know where the sender is
located>> anyone know the location of sender? Are the threads 1/4" or 1/2"? How
do you get to the dash gauges to replace one? I have never been behind there.
Thanks in advance

On our Cat 300 HP the sensor is near the rear side of the oil cooler, it has
one wire. Vee Three now owns teleflex, What ever gage get a match set gage &
sensor, the sensor usually comes with bushings to adapt to 1/2. 1/4 or 3/8

Try the trouble shooting guide.

Hi Ed
The back of the dash is accessable by removing the multitude of phillips head screws around the edges of the dash.
Gently lift the dash up and you will be able to see what you need to do to get to the gauges.I would recommend you shut off your 12 volt power before hand.
