Do you have any schematics at all of your coach?

I have the âblue boxâ and several wiring diagrams. I am still trying to fathom all the data. I think the biggest challenge is finding the location of the components. Note that the '78 has only one limit switch and a different wiring
than the '84, best to find the correct wiring diagram to start. I have to agree, finding the right drawings for the coach you have is the ultimate answer. Certainly, the newer coach with 4 relays is a far cry from what I have or I imagine the 78 has. Wiring diagrams. Somewhat of a hybrid, but more iring diagram than
anything. The tape switch is a N.O. switch on the underside of the body above the step, designed to reverse (extend) the step if it retracts and pinches a foot between the step and body. Most of them have been disconnected, the rest will be eventually. Jeff,
I did some checking and determined the valve was getting power but wasnât working. I found the single relay as you suggested. Tom (the previous owner) left a new Granger valve with all the trimmings in the coach. I hooked it up and the step works fine. Unfortunately the step needs to be rebuilt due to rust, so Iâm half way there. By the way, I have tons of drawings and books and service history since 1990 thanks to attentive previous owners. I have been referencing them each time I find something I donât understand. My wife has been deep cleaning the interior for two days. She keeps remarking on how well the coach is laid out and how easy things are to clean, like the headliner. The fit, finish and quality is showing up everywhere. Now all I need to do is figure out each electrical circuit and check it for proper functionality. Here is where time has taken its toll. Old switches and connections, a little home spun repair work and dirt and moisture. I found the single relay as you suggested. Tom (the previous owner) left a new Granger valve with all the trimmings in the coach. I hooked it up and the step works fine. Unfortunately the step needs to be rebuilt due to rust, so I'm half way there. By the way, I have tons of drawings and books and service history since 1990 thanks to attentive previous owners. I have been referencing them each time I find something I don't understand. My wife has been deep cleaning the interior for two days. She keeps remarking on how well the coach is laid out and how easy things are to clean, like the headliner. The fit, finish and quality is showing up everywhere. Now all I need to do is figure out each electrical circuit and check it for proper functionality. Here is where time has taken its toll. Old switches and connections, a little home spun repair work and dirt and moisture.
